Greetings:
The 2010 Midsummer Veterinary Conference for Sustainable Agriculture (formerly the Boundary Waters Veterinary Conference) will be held August 12-13, 2010, at the I Hotel and Convention Center on the campus of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, IL. The conference website is www.mvc-sa.com and will contain information on associated farm tours, research sessions, workshops and the conference program.
The conference will provide information to those serving clients interested in the production and marketing of organic, antibiotic-free, and other non-conventional food animals. The conference is open to anyone, but is primarily targeted towards veterinarians, animal scientists, and students. Continuing Education credits will be available for this conference.
The I Hotel is an ideal venue for this event. The Illinois Conference Center is a state-of-the-art facility, and Champaign - Urbana is home to the University of Illinois. The CU community is centrally located near thriving sustainable agriculture farms.
Please save the dates for this important conference. We hope to see you in Urbana-Champaign in August. There is growing interest among veterinarians and their clientele in the area of sustainable agriculture, and we are expecting a large turnout this summer.
In order to make this conference a success we are in need of financial support. You can help sponsor the conference in the following ways: by being an exhibitor, an advertiser, or by becoming a supporter.
Exhibitor ($1000): As an exhibitor you may set up a booth at the conference in order to personally deliver information about your company and sell products during lunch and the various breaks.
Advertiser ($500): As an advertiser, you may also send us materials that we will distribute to all of the attendees in their registration packet.
Supporter ($250): For a donation of $250 or more we will display your company name and brief message at the conference.
For any level of sponsorship we will be happy to link your website to our conference website.
